Need Philco IF transformer info

I am trying to find some information about some Automated Transformer Company IF transformers (I think). They are on a Philco board and the numbers are 32-4884-x )x being 1 through 3) and 32-4714-x and 32-4834-x which I think is 455khz.. I am sure they are Automated Transforer because the other numbers on them are 119-63-01. I suspect those are a 7mhz coil and not a 455khz IF. The Philco board has a number on it but not readable. I think it is 54-6610-6 (and that is a guess) and EIA-xxx-P where XXX is unreadable. What I am after is a 455khz IF transformer with a tapped secondary to replace another Automated Transformer Company 455khz tapped IF in another receiver.
Thank you.
Jim

Hi Jim,

I looked up those numbers in my Thordarson cross reference and the only numbers that cross are the two 32-4834 variety listed below. They are both 3/4" Permability tuned IF's

32-4834-1 crosses to Thordarson 16-6787 AC-DC output 455KC

32-4834-2/-3 crosses to Thordarson 16-6780 input or output 456KC

If we knew what model receiver those parts came from we could look them up in the Sams servicing info.

Hello Kevin.
I have no way of knowing what receiver this board came out of as it was just a loose pc board in a box of stuff I picked through at a ham swap meet.

What I am looking for is a replacement center tapped 455khz IF transformer in a Mosley CM-1 ham band receiver as one of the IF's in the Mosley broke and came apart so it was not repairable. I know know those are Automated Transformer Company IF coils as they also start with the 119 number plus year. Mosley was no help and have not found a replacement so far. I was hoping one of these could be used for the replacement.

Thank you.
Jim

Jim,

What are the dimensions and mounting style of the Mosley IF transformer - solder lugs or PC mount? A couple pictures of what it looks like would help track one down. And what happened to the original that it can't be repaired?

The size is the standard K-tran size so 3/4" square and had lugs since the Mosley is hard wired and I assume hand wired. The only thing that makes the 5 or so IF cans in that receiver unique is that one of the windings is tapped so a standard k-tran won't work.
