Small screw driver set and bench magnafier.

This might be the wrong section.Note to Mods .Can you move this thread to the right place if this in the wrong place.Thanks.

OK .What I'm looking for is those real tiny philips screwdrivers set like for watches and small hobby models .I need a set for working on small devices like digital cameras ,phones and other mini devices..All I see at Lowe's and Home Depot are to big with the smallest at PH000.

Also I need a source for a good reasonable priced strong hands free bench magnifier for my poor eyes to see these micro electronics parts.

Thanks in advance.

Having no idea of your location, I'll have to assume you live right next door to me.
So, go to MicroCenter (or any good computer store) and check out the various tool kits they have for phone repair, etc. Lots of well-made stuff, with all the weird tri-lobe and micro-torx driver bits, spudgers (Google it), suction cups, etc. to do the job.

They do online sales, too, and the web is full of similar offerings.

MCM Electronics offers several articulated, lighted benchtop magnifiers, as well as the tools you seek. I'm sure several video- or audiokarma advertisers do also.

You and me both!

Or put in the search term in eBay: magnifying floor lamp

There are several sellers selling these.

I have one and just used it this AM to retract a splinter from my hand.

These are hands free, so you still have both hands to work, and you can roll it out of the way when it is not needed. The base is rather heavy, so it won't tip over.

Not affiliated with the seller, and I don't remember which seller mine came from.
