How many sets do you have currently?

My current count is 31, including 4 that haven't arrived yet.

Of that, 7 are fully restored and functioning, one (my RCA 730TV2) is 4 caps away from (hopefully) done, 7 others are in progress, and 12, not including the ones in transit, have yet to be worked on (it's gonna be a long winter, figured might as well stock up :) ).

WOW, Including the sets we use every day I think it's a grand total of 24.....

Don't tell the wife....

I have roughly 50. Give or take a couple.

A dozen or so here in my office, I'd guestimate a good 3 dozen, all told...

As the TV collecting thing is a new avenue for me I only have 11 and so far 2 are completed and one has become my daily driver. Old radios are a little different, I have just over 400 in various states and about 200 of them are restored and displayed through the house.

I probably still have 35-40 TVs with CRTs 17-inch to 30-inch, another 50 or so 3-inch CRT to 14-inch, and over 100 handheld or otherwise tiny CRT and LCD portables.

Someday I should do a complete inventory, and pass on about 150 sets to other collectors.

Oh my am I number if not value-deprived. Of non-vintage sets, I have two,
a 55" Sony Bravia LCD set and one of these clear plastic "prison" tvs (the latter cost only $8 and works fine, but unfortunately is the last year before even they went
ATSC.)

Vintage sets, lets see: I have two Sony FD230 Watchmans, an RCA 9T246, a Pilot TV-37, an Emerson 610, and the RCA CT-100. All but one Watchman work perfectly, that one has bad audio. That makes 8 sets total.

I find it near-impossible to watch the B&W TVs for long, as the lack of color
makes it hard to see things on modern color-expected shows. The CT-100,
however, is perfectly watchable indeed ... I have been watching one whole
baseball or football game a week on it.

Wanted Holy Grails: Sony KV-7010U with good CRT and flyback and
1936 5" British set.

Does such an animal exist? That would be quite a cool set to have both a 5" picture tube (would it be picture valve :scratch2:?) and a 405/240 selector switch. I know Marconi and HMV both made 5" sets but not until 1938.

Sorry to be a bit off topic here.

41 crt sets

6 CRT sets - an RCA CTC-16 roundy, my PortaColor, a Setchell Carlson 21" BW, an Emerson 17" BW portable, a 7" Tele-Tone, and an RCA 730TS. While it doesn't have a CRT yet, I also have my GE PC-A I'm building.

Funny, I have more Oscilloscopes than TVs - 13 in all.

I have no idea anymore, it was well over 100 some years ago, not counting all the little 5" solid state sets and the HD sets that i actually use.

I have a list on my other PC but it needs to be updated.

Let's count

1. Silvertone "roundie" - works, but has buzz in sound*
2. RCA CTC-38 - works great, in living room as main TV
3. RCA "Sharp" portable - dim picture, suspect bad tube*
4. RCA metal cabinet 8 inch portable - recapped, jail bars on screen, otherwise good*
5. Zenith 16" colour hybrid with SC-100 remote - works great but issues with color, suspect it needs an alignment
6. Philco Predicta Princess - as found, makes a decent pic but needs recapped, missing antenna*
7. Admiral 19" B&W - works well except linearity varies with line voltage a bit much*
8. 1979 vintage Sony commercial 17" Trinitron I got at Boeing Surplus - awesome, used by daughter for Nintendo Wii
9. Marconi 17" table top TV, early 50s - as found, needs new capacitors*

Any of the sets marked with a (*), I would entertain offers on, provided it approximately matches what I have in to them... always good to have some turnover.
