Mechanical Snowman
1 Attachment(s)
Well this is completely off topic - so I guess it fits in here...
=) If anyone ever comes across a poloron mechanical snowman or has one they want to sell and are in the DC area (Va, Pa, Md, WV) please let me know. I have been trying to buy one for my wife for 10 years. She had one as a kid in the 70s down in Louisiana... but it melted and was tossed out in the 80s. I am also still interested - even if the motor does not work. Picture at bottom... THANKS! |

The top above the waistline moves back and forth.

It uses a motorized mechanism that moves it back and forth, hence the term "mechanical". They made a Santa Claus version too.

It would be neat if the arms could move though. In that case it could probably be modded to do your shoveling. :thmbsp:
As I recall, after one storm here someone built a 15-foot snowman. |
Yes
Yes. It moves back and forth at the waist. This is one of the harder blow molds to find. There was also a Santa version that Sears sold. The Santa is a little bit easier to find than the Snowman. Any leads would be very much appreciated.

Do you want to build a snowman?
