Trash or Sell?? Two old TV's

Hello! I am glad to have found this forum! A friend of mine is cleaning out her grandmothers house and they have two TVs. This is the information she has given me but I haven't been able to find anything on these models. I'm told they are wood framed and they don't know whether they are color or b/w. Any ideas? Should she try to sell them or send them to the dump.

GE Model # SAM732W_ _ (can't read last two digits)
Admiral Model # 221K45N

Cheers!

Welcome to AK, pal ! Yeah, pics would be great-we could prolly tell in an instant what the TVs are.

I think neither of these TVs hold a special value, so they are not worth selling.

I'm in Massachusetts. I haven't been in the house. (She's embarrased about the mess.) I'll try to get in there and get some pics.

I pulled the Sams on these to check out the pictures. The Admiral is in folder 180, from 1952. A kinda early 21" rectangular set. Some versions list a 20", others the cylindrical-face 21EP4.

The GE is in 628 from 1963. I have a pic but not the file; guessing 19-21" with a 110 degree crt. To be clear, both are b&w.

I haven't been able to get in the house and now they're gone on vacation. From what you found, what do you think? Sellable?

Neither is real desirable, but the Admiral is the more interesting. There would have been many cabinet choices-likely they are consoles. Oftentimes it is hard to get any money for these, just due to supply & demand. It's ashame. But I would at least try. Sometimes the exposure that ebay brings will work. These are hard to ship so you pretty much have to find someone fairly close by to buy them.

B& W Consoles

Those black and white sets are pretty hard to sell , shipping is always the issue when it comes to selling them on ebay . I just had to gut three consoles becuase i needed the room and couldnt find anyone interested in them . I have a friend in long island ,ny that buys those b/w consoles , but i think thats far from Massachutes.

Yuh. It's more than 200 miles each way from my part of the Island. The gas and tolls alone would make it a tough ship. And on a weekday, figure double the traffic time.

Do you think you could go in there and get some pics? There is one particular early larger screened Admiral that i've been looking for, for a really long time but I don't remember what its model number was. Would be cool if this was the one, or at least very similar to it.
