RIP Dave. Condolences to his family. Shocking to learn. He worked on one of my sets.
Does anyone have a picture of him they could share?
. |
A real shame to lose a good VK member so young.
Shows we can end up checking out at any time so we should enjoy what we get while we can. One day yall might be celebrating my untimely demise (aye no yall want me gon :D) if I'm not careful. |

Very sorry to hear this. Rest in peace, Big Dave. Way too young.
I am saddened every time we lose one of our AK and VK family. R.I.P. Big Dave, you were an awesome VK forum member, and a great TV troubleshooter and restorer.
Thanks for posting his picture. I remember Dave from many of the ETF conventions. RIP.
Did he know he had cancer, or was it a sudden thing?
I only met him once at an ETF convention. He sure was a wealth of knowledge, and gave me some good tips & advice. |
From the best of my knowledge, he became really ill and it was discovered at that point when he went to the doctor, which was a week before he died.
AWWW! No way! I'll really miss him... We always chatted at the ETF, he ended up with my Admiral color mini console. It worked beautifully after he restored it. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

RIP, Dave!

This is very sad. I never had the opportunity to meet Dave, but admired posts he crafted. Never miss an opportunity to discuss "our thing here" with anyone willing to listen. All have some funny tales, too bad most of you are far west of here.
