Timeline of the introduction of color television in countries

G'day all.

I came across this Wikipedia article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timelin...n_in_countries and I thought I'd share it with you's, its the timeline of the introduction of colour television in countries.

I was quite suprised with how early colour was introduced to some countries, especially the Philippines, they got colour in 1966!

And countryes like Vietnam and North Koreea had color television before Romania did. Romania was the last country in Eastern and Central Europe to have color television :tears:
I will ask on Romanian forums about one thing: did people in Romania, who lived near borders, bought color sets in order to watch forgein televisons in color (for eg, in Bucharest in the '80's you could recived Bulgarian television with an normal antena... but I heard no story of how some people how could travel outside Romania bough themselfs color sets in the '70's to watch color broadcasting on Bulgarian television)
