I am starting this thread just to post some pix of cool stuff. I'm not lookin' for purchasing advice!
Bendix Aviation Corporation Model 676D. The seller is asking $35. Here is what he has to say: For sale is 1 antique radio phonograph console from the 1940's. Its a Bendix Aviation Corporation Model 676D. It has standard AM band plus 6-12MHz shortwave bands. The chassis looks OK -- all tubes are present and the speaker is still present. It has minor scratches & wear on the cabinet and some surface fogging toward the bottom due to moisture as shown in the picture. The wood is solid and there doesn't appear to be any warping. It should clean up nice, but refinishing may be required. |

It simply amazes me how many antique radios are still in circulation. This is a Warner model, $200 asking price. The owner says the radio still functions:
