Del Coronado Stoneware, Made In California
 

After Katrina I salvaged a full set of a great-aunt's dishes. They're stoneware in four pastel colors with grapes embossed on the rims and marked "Del Coronado - Made in California." I know that her daughter sent the set to her not long after WWII.

I've found very little information about them on the internet - most everything seems to point to Nasco or the Hotel del Coronado. I'd love to know anything further about them.

And now the battery on my camera is dead :sigh: I'll put up some pictures later.

The DEC2, 3, 4 & 7 are the same. One stated "discontinued 1949." I had found a website 4-5 years ago that had a very brief history of Del Coronado; it mentioned that after initial production ended, either another company made this pattern for a few years in the fifties or the same company sold it under a different name. Can't remember and lost that bookmark in a crash.
