Nah... 8-ohm speaker in that thing I assume, so 4x 4-ohm speakers wired in series, with the internal speaker disconnected of course, ought to do the trick. I'm not aware of individual speaker impedances lower than that.

RCA's and Zenith's seemed to use a lot of 32 ohm speakers.
If you want good sound at a reasonable price, I use the better type of computer sound systems. The kind that has a sub-woofer and left and right satellite speakers. Usually very reasonable at the thrifts.

There is a discussion about "Sandy G" where it was also mentioned that squirrel man (username1) hasn't been seen in a while , maybe the dude was bumping his post in the hopes he'd get the "your post has been replied to" notification and resurface ?

:D Or , maybe he's just really into thread necro ?

I have a sony tuner and I listen to my computer audio, cassettes,VHS and 8tracks in Mono..

I have a stereo to mono adapter for my cassettes/8 tracks which merges both channels......

MY VCR is mono and I have a mini transmitter hooked up to listen to my computer stuff and I have a MONO button on my tuner so I just hit it :)

Why not just wear one earplug?

My Stereo has a MONO button also.... Realistic STA-100 I use to wonder
why a Stereo Receiver would have that.... (back when I was 19).
