Have to rebuild my filter caps, but have questions

I have to rebuild my filter caps, I have the new caps, but I do not understand how to tell which lug is what value on the caps?

I searched google and came up with just how to read cap valuve, I looked in my TV's manual and it just states valves, and finally, I've searched here with no luck.

I know I can mark each wire lug to that color wire, but that does not tell me which lug is what valve?

The cases have symbols, and I've searched on filter cap symbols but found nothing.

I'm I supposed to measure ohms or something on each lug with my DVOM?

I'm stumped, please help. These are the last two caps I have to swap for my TV's resto.

Thanks,

The key is right on the cap itself. You can make it out in the picture on the cap on the right. It will show a shape, followed by the capacitance, followed by the voltage rating. The shape corresponds to a shape next to the lug on the bottom of the capacitor. Eg. D 40 450. That means the half circle marked lug is 40mfd 450V. Just look for the shape next to the lug.

Ha! I just looked at the bottoms of the caps and the key on the sides and yup, just like you said! I see the symbols on the cap bottom. Wow, learned something today!

Thanks a lot! : )
