I was gonna call Sandy and see how him and his wife are..... Maybe ill ring today :)

I called and sandy and his wife are in good spirits and ok :)

I guess he is having problems with his laptop again..... (It wasnt all cleared up from the spill in the keyboard)

That man needs a Mac like there's no tomorrow.
I keep up on W10 issues on Reddit, and there are daily Windows Update horror stories over there. Like major hard drive mfg's units suddenly becoming incompatible overnight, updates of death, and such. Obviously some PCs keep on working, but there's a lot of collateral damage going on...

He needs a ToughBook with BSD on it. Something like a CF 31.

I talked to Sandy this afternoon. He's working on getting his computer back online. He's OK.

If he's still on Windows, don't let him update. (Although it's likely MS will ignore those wishes and do it anyway.) Lots of horror stories out there.

The key is up-to-date Windows 7. The problems are mostly centered around Windows 10.

Chip is correct. Up to date Windows 7 is the best!

I have a 1 year old Dell that is useless, automatic update bricked it. Wife is now without her computer, now to figure out how to reinstall the BIOS on a computer with no keyboard and no usable mouse....
