Studio cameras, portable cameras, how big they are, did they provided image qualty close to the big bad cameras?
I wish me one, but don't have that money...

These appear to be single-vidicon (striped faceplate) cameras (they may have used another photoconductive tube, like a Saticon). They would have been intended for school, industrial training, or cable TV systems. They would not provide a quality of picture much better than a home camera based on the same technology, except that some controls were brought out for adjustment of electrical focus and target voltage. Electrical focus was critical for resolving the color filter stripes to get good color balance. They also would have needed more light than the big 3-tube studio cameras to reduce motion smear.

The size is very likely smaller than studio cameras of the time (maybe about 50% in each dimension).

"ITV" on the lens probably means "Industrial TV"

So no big deal cameras.

That one looks like one of the better ones that would have been sold with consumer EIAJ 1/2" RTR VTRs....Probably rarer than some broadcast cameras, but not functionally better.

The picture is in fact so good that it makes me wonder if the tube is really a Vidicon in the narrow sense, i.e. with a antimony trisulfate target.
