If any of you are looking for TV's...

And you are from or around GA, let me know. I know of a rummage store in my hometown with ~15 TV sets ranging in vintage from 70s, 80s, and 90s. Next time I visit, I will post pics. I know of about 3 console sets at other locations and a couple of knob-tuned 70s tabletops that I could easily get my hands on. I also have a BPC Panasonic 35" or 36" with S-video inputs in my garage. It was struck by lightning. It does not work and it was not simply a blown fuse.

None that I know of.

How about direct address RCA sets--They do NOT have a power switch on the set--remote only

How about Admiral SS sets?

Or 1971-72 Sylvania sets?

Early 1970's Philco color sets?

Motorola made quasar color sets?

TUD1 04-22-2016 11:02 PM

Yes! I forgot about those early 70's Sylvania's. I like those.

Honestly, it's been a while. There is a 60s or 70s RCA console at the old rummage store. It's actually in the furniture section. I will make an attempt to get by there tomorrow and snap some pictures of the inventory. I have a feeling that there would be some takers on that old RCA. There are also Knob tuned GE and Goldstar (or mabye Emerson) knob tuned sets.

There is one other console set from the 80s with the light grey phosphor on the screen. I haven't been there in a month, but you guys know that these things don't go quickly...

The RCA - being used as a simple peice of furniture. Price on it is $45.00 I'm not joking.

Here is like ~20 sets, ~half BPC and half interesting. I will provide close ups on request.

Believe me now, boys? There is simply too much stuff there to keep to myself. This stuff has all sat almost a year (at least). It's not going anywhere unless the store closes or I win the lottery and build an addition onto my house.

The set on the empty cabinet may be one of the last GE's.
Funny how they started making good sets then closed down.
Same with Admiral. Make a great set for a few yrs then gone......
Other console looks NAPish. May be one of the last real Sylvanias to.

This is indeed a GE Set. Manufactured December 83. This is a tabletop set mounted on a cabinet making it an upright console, I guess. It has an extensive jack panel

Here is the model #

The console has no brand information whatsoever. I can't tell what it is.
