Emerson model 108

Hi ,
I have a Emerson model 108 in white plaston coming my way. Does anyone know if a reproduction back cover is made. If I had a tracing of it ,I would cut one out. But I'm thinking I may be able to even find one. It looks like a lot of radio cramed into a small cabinet. I'll use a dropping resister to.get rid of the curtain burning cord.
Best Regards, Ray

The back on a 108 is made of the same material the cabinet is made of, so I doubt if anyone has been able to reproduce one.

An AC capacitor voltage drop for the heaters is better than the resistor idea. An 8mfd @ 250VAC would be fine.
It's not an easy thing to source, but they're around. Still better than a resistor.

Thanks for the reply and info. on using cap instead of the resistor like I was thinking of doing.

If anyone is into using Amazon, it's a great source for the caps, under 'Ceiling Fan Speed Control Capacitors'.

I see that one was exactly that 5-8 uf at 250 volts.
And they look small enough as not to take up alot of room .
