What do you do when your attachments box gets full?

I don't want to go back and delete the photos to make room for more, I placed them in here to archive them so they wouldn't get lost when other hosts determine their fate.

So can I get an enlarged storage box on the forum?

Good luck.

Part of the reason I host almost nothing on VK is I knew if I started I'd get where you are now.... the other part was especially back when I joined free hosting of the nonimage file VK allows is not as easy to come by as image hosting...I figured if I needed to host documents or something in a zip file for the benefit of VK I'd need to keep that space open.

More so than attachment limits I wish the PM boxes of active long term members was 2-3 the standard 125 given to all but moderators ( who have a roomy 985 IIRC). It is a real PITA keeping it from filling and keeping messages relating to back burnered deals.

Well, the PMs aren't a problem. You can move them to other folders you create in your user control panel. Attachments only have the one folder. Need I open a new account to get around this? Anyone have any ideas? I can't be the first one nearing the limit, can I?

Just ran into this myself. No idea what can be done besides hosting off-site.

Couple of years ago the same question was asked, and several people who were bumping the limit (myself included) were increased from 20 meg to 30 meg.

I ran out a long long time ago. Fortunately most of what I post isn't worthy of keeping around forever so I delete from my hosting site as I see fit, before they do it for me. The unfortunate thing about this situation is that it discourages folks from helping others and is possibly part of the reason the traffic around here seems to have fallen off.

Well, I'm up to 100 MB, so I guess I shouldn't complain?
