9/16" CRT specs wanted

Hey folks, long time no see! On a lark, to waste time, I took apart a dead camcorder to salvage the viewfinder CRT. M01KKX07WB03 Panasonic. But my search on Google nets only that it cost $81 and is out of stock. I am looking for at least the pinout and fil volts, both of which I can guess at but don't want to pop the fil. Any ideas where I can find that info? Thanks!

What is the model number of the camcorder that you took apart?

Marlin Mackley 02-17-2013 02:01 PM

Panasonic Palmcorder AFx8

That doesn't come up as a valid model number - it is a feature listed on several models of Panasonic camcorders.

When I put it into Google it did, but all I found were Ebay sales of these, no service info I could use.

If you still have all of the parts, the actual model number will be on a plate on the bottom of the camcorder - it is on the same plate as the serial number and electrical specs.

I am trying to find a service manual for you, but I need an actual model number.

Sorry, but from extreme handling the numbers on the metal base tag are all gone. It is just a badly scratched shiny surface.

This CRT is used in a PV-31 and a PV-41, but I can't find a service manual for them. The cameras were manufactured in 1992. Maybe someone else has a copy.

Thanks for trying! From your general knowledge is it likely the filament is the 6v the canmcorder ran on, or some reduced amount? I can just about tell what the pinout is using a jeweler's loupe and the ohmmeter.

1 Attachment(s)
Here is a schematic from a similar viewfinder - maybe it will help you do what you want to do.

Great, thanks!
