How in the world I can see what film speed I have on this lightmeter?
 

How in the world I can see what film speed I have on this lightmeter? http://www.cameramanuals.org/flashes...ixtomat_x3.pdf Well, there is dial on the side, I move it, but on the body of the meter there is no indication on which film speed I selected.

It says to set the index line to the film speed. I think the index line is the short line on the outer edge of the knob. I think that is the only indication you need of what speed is set.

The problem is that I can't rotate the metal plate in order to put another film speed on the index line... only the whole dial (plastic one) I can rotate.

Oh, I see. I was thinking that the thin outer ring would rotate and the numbered center would stand still. Is it possible to pull the outer ring up and release it from the center numbered part? (Just guessing)

Here's a short video that shows at 25 seconds the side view with the ASA set to 100. The index line has been rotated with repect to the ASA scale. However, it doesn't show how the setting was made.

If pulling up or pressing doesn't work, how about turning the knob all the way to one end and then trying to continue turning? (Don't force it too hard.) Maybe with the knob adjusted to one end, continuing to turn will make the outer ring click further?

Thank you! I managed to do it using the hole of the upper side of a ball pencil. Yesterday I tried to do it with the "stilus" of that ball pencil and I scracthed the brass :cry: Man, I can't set exactly 200 A.S.A. :(
I loose the screw a little bit and now it's moving. I will let in on 200 A.S.A. for the moment and I will calculate for 100 A.S.A.... since I can calculate by speed (2 x slower) or diapraghm (one step more open). I don't think I will use 160 A.S.A.
