I discovered that secret a couple of years ago. It only works on HD channels, but it toggles between letterbox and no letterbox to the 4:3 analog outputs in addition to the all the goofy contortions it imposes upon the HDMI output.

I cant remember if those little DTA boxes can be adjusted for 4.3.I know my main full size box can do it.
