Panasonic RE-784a

I picked this up at the Salv.Army yesterday for a few bucks. I don't really collect radios but I thought it looked pretty classy with the wood case and all.
It works good too I'm listening to it right now sounds great for an old tube radio from the 50's. Older than I thought it was too thought I'd take a pic and post it here........

Nice radio !
I have one of those and several similar ones
made by RCA,Zenith,G.E.etc.

That Panasonic beats them all soundwise.
I hooked up an old Norelco 8" extension speaker
to it also and was very happy with the sound.

Great find ,Enjoy.....

All of the Panasonics I've owned through the late 70's have generally been excellent sets. Yours is very nice looking to boot!
