Finally found a Edison!

After looking for years, I have finally found a Edison Diamond Disc machine. I have made a deal with a local flea market owner for a Model C-150 with the drawer full of records for $200. I'll have the machine home next week. I'll post a few pics when I get it home.

I think the records that are with it are all the WWI era discs that have a slightly noisy playing surface due to chemical shortages of that time. I will get as many of the 1920's discs as I can find though since they have higher sound quality due to better playing surfaces.

Any pictures? I have an Edison A 150. With an Edison D D reproducer, you can only play records machine was made for. If reproducer is for lateral cut, regular 78's can be played on it, but, you cannot play Edison Diamond Disc records. Edison DD records play best at 80 rpms.

Just for information, the records are called " Diamond Disc", and, most play at 80 rpm.
They are played with a Diamond needle on the reproducer.....
