I doubt it, as far as I know all Corvette bodies are made of fibreglass.
Something like a '76 Olds 98 would be more appropriate.

Perhaps so, I'm not familiar with the movie. Then again a 1950s Doc Brown was confused by Marty's use of the word.

Believe it or not, before all the meandering drivel, this thread was originally about a rocket; manufactured & launched by SpaceX, and called the "Falcon Heavy."

 Uh Oh , who called the thread police ?

"We got a 420 in progress , people having fun , Book em Dano !"

Honestly , were this an "upstairs" thread , sure , I could see staying strictly to the thread topic , but where this IS the "off topic chat" section I think a bit of thread drift is bound to happen and is nothing to get all wound up over .

Your mileage most certainly may vary .......

I think it's par for the course in just about any sub-forum here. In all but the rarest cases I don't care at all if a thread gets derailed and will even pitch in from the sidelines, even if it's my thread. Once I get the information I need it's a free-for-all. :)

:thmbsp: Exactly , were this a thread about the restoration of a fellow VK member's TV set you bet I'd want to see it stay on topic , at least till the thread originator got all the help they needed . But where this is an off topic thread in the off topic subforum I think thread drift is pretty much a non issue .

To bad the batteries ran out. I was really hoping to see a distant shot of the earth from the Tesla and a shot of the craft approaching Mars.

Last pic, enroute to Mars.

It would appear that the battery management algorithm for space bound Tesla automobiles might require a bit of optimization before the next one is sent to Mars. :scratch2:
