Zenith Integrator - Replacement

Here is a little project I did for replacing Zenith integrators using an ExpressPCB designed circuit board, I was able to sneak these on to a larger project board. Assuming the data I found on-line is correct these should work nicely. Note I could not find values listed for part number 87-9 but elsewhere I saw 87-9 was replaced by 87-8.

Nicely done. What type of ceramic caps did you use? Some have better temperature stability that others. Probably not really an issue with a circuit like this though.

Personally I'd rather add a terminal strip or bend the wires together and solder. The PCB is more distractingly modern than the other 2 methods not to mention takes more time and money.

About the only place where PCBs make sense is K-networks that have more than 4 leads and are used in a TV that was built with a PCB like the predictas.

The capacitors I used are X7R at 1kv. Not the worst temp code but still poor. I would be curious what the original integrator capacitor specs are.

Digikey does have 680pf with a NP0 temp code, looks like either 630v or 3kv are in stock.
