I used to have way more but I currently have 5 an all time low.
But I still have a bunch of radios and record players.

AUdubon5425 06-25-2015 12:34 AM

I have around 50 sets. I'm acquiring another 15 or so mystery sets when a local production wraps up, have no idea what they are except pre-1975.

I lost count.Got some in the garage, basement, shed,my old car and the back patio covered up.

I picked up a Panasonic and a Toshiba 19 inch monitor style sets from the curb in the past two weeks.

I had to think about this one, but i have 9 vintage tv sets hanging about. Six are tube tv's, 3 are solid state. hmm, maybe 20+ radios hanging about as well.

Red Raster 07-01-2015 12:43 PM

Lost count but enough to fill and over flow a 1200 sq ft basement

I would imagine I am up to 45 televisions a dozen or so radios and lots of reference material in my library. Like the rest of you, " There's always room for one more!".

What kind of a bugeye set is it?
IIRC, there was three years of them. They even made a 21" model in about 1956. Those were the models that had the knobs in the side centers, instead of near the top. I hope you understand, what I'm referring to. :scratch2:

I now have 8 vintage sets! Picked up what I believe to be an Admiral T102 on monday. One of those 10" metal sets with a 2 tone paint job. Mines Red(or orange) and white.
Add on CL said it worked, yet unrestored. Actually it just puts up a raster but I'll fix that in the future!

I presently have two CRT TVs (one 20 and the other 15 years old) and a flat screen. One of the CRTs will replace the FP when the latter quits.

I also have about seven vintage radios, mostly Zeniths from the 1960s (I collect vintage Zenith radios), although I do have a Zenith H511 "racetrack" model from 1951 as well that still works. The only things I've replaced in that radio so far were the AC cord and the #47 pilot light; the latter burned out with a bright flash the first time I plugged it in after it arrived here by UPS (problem was likely a deformed power-supply filter capacitor), but a new bulb brought the set back to life immediately.
