Hi.
My name is Brian.
I was born in 1970 and currently live near Runcorn Cheshire.

I collect 70's, 80's and 90's electronics.
I studied electronics in the late 80's but I don't work with elecronics, I currently drive trucks for a living.

Hope to get to know a few of you guys better, and I have some items I could use some help with.
I'll post in the right catergory for help, well I hope I do.

Below is a photo of some of my items, just some I could fit on my table anyway.

Brian

Welcome Brian,
There is well-rounded experience here with just about anything electronic (or mechanical) you may come across.

Among many TVs, my only European TV is a '74 Saba color that was converted to NTSC from new. I always look forward to any new post from the UK in International Televisions " forum here on VK. Someone posted a picture of a 1965 RCA 21" round CRT color converted to PAL, simply awesome.

Having visited Britain in 1976 about the time I was getting very interested in the physics of TV reception, I noticed all the with BBC1-2, ITV and TV4 sets with only 4-6 presets. Set-top yagi antennas and others for UHF hanging off walls and chimneys. Some places in the north and midlands did not even get the last two channels, and kind of snowy if I recall correctly. Being from a rural area of the US, I became aware of UHF reception challenges as well.

That collection is ALL of interest and I wish good luck to you as a fellow curator!
