Heathkit PS-4 Power Supply--Manual Available?

I just got a Heathkit PS-4 regulated 0-400V power supply that is nonfunctional, and the assembly work is pretty atrocious. I am thinking that this unit is a good candidate for a "rekitting" and reassembly.

Unfortunately, I didn't get the original assembly manual, and can't seem to find one on the web anywhere. I can only find the schematic, which is helpful for troubleshooting, but I really need the complete manual to do a rebuild. Does anyone have access to a copy they can scan and share?

Look up the manual for the heath IP32, not complete but might help. :scratch2:

Hi, Check out www.vintage-radio.info/heathkit/ for the IP-32 and schematic for the PS-4. All the best,Tom

Thanks! I was able to find a complete IP-32 manual, and it appears 98% identical to the older PS-4, with the only electrical difference being the rectifier diodes (snap-in fuseholder type vs. modern axial leaded). That and a different color scheme for the front panel.

Currently rebuilding the unit, working from the IP-32 instructions.
