Power cord 1978 Hitachi CT-927W

This TV still works, and I would like to use it to play old Nintendo games, but I have lost the detachable power cord. Any ideas for a substitute, or could something safe be made that would work?

It looks like part no. (WCC) BA-555 on this page
https://www.surplussales.com//Electr...ecCords-1.html
would work.

Its the standard POLARIZED TV cord. Tens of millions were used on TV's
1960's to 1970's
Note one pin it larger than the other. The original was held in by a metal clip.
You dont need that. You may have to trim a little rubber off a replacement
to get it to fit.
