Old tv repair shop haul!
3 Attachment(s)
After a hectic weekend i managed to get most of the test equipment from a 64 year old tv repair shop that closed this week. Brown's Colonial tv repair started in 1954. Unfortunately the crts and spare parts were gone before i even found out about the closing. I left behind the old vtvm's and a old b&k tv analyzer that was missing parts but managed to return with 7 crt tester rejuventaors. which are (1) sencore cr-70, (3) Beltron 2972-e (2) B&K 466 and 1 Central electronics RE-2. i got a pair of color bar cross hatch generators a B&K 1246 and a sencore cg135. all crt testers have the sockets but one of the beltrons socket cable has seen way better days. I got a 2 small plastic cases 1 of rca XL100 modules and the other with NOS 70's RCA knobs, My friend nate found a working Sony kv-8ad11 portable color in the dumpster and added it to my pile "Thanks Nate",I hope i didn't pay too much, i got all of it for a pair of Ben's

If you get tired of the CR70 or a beltron let me know... I could use a good rejuvination rig/second point of reference.

Hi all! I'm thinking about making a crt rejuvenator shoot-out video. i have 2 sets with weak-ish crts. I am thinking about a video where i try each unit on a "dead crt" to see which one works "or kills a dead crt". anyone thinks this is a good idea?

You need to email me. (click on my username in this post and select send email.) My PM box has been stuffed to capacity for a while and no longer accepts messages (it just sends me a warning that I missed someone's message)...I need to fix that at some point.

I just sent a message to you but there is no record of it in my sent messages. Let me know if you receive it. Logan
