CTC-4: Resistance reading for flyback?

Title says it all. I'm starting to look into my CTC-4, after a slight...delay, and I'm wondering if the reason this set go retired was the flyback. The Sams is a bit fuzzy on what they should be,and the RCA stuff doesn't seem to have it either. I know mine isn't open on the primary winding. Beyond that? Dunno.

Also, Sams suggests it's the same flyback as the CTC-5? There any truth to this rumor?

If there's no high voltage, first check the hv rectifier tube, 3a3 , or whatever you have in there for starters.

2 Attachment(s)
1st attachment from Sam's 314 RCA CTC4 second from Sam's 323 (which is a Magnavox rebadged CTC4).

I own 2 CTC4s and 2 CTC5s the two chassis' flys LOOK completely different. It wouldn't be hard to compare the Sam's.

Wild speculation: could the CTC-5 Deluxe (not Super) fly be the same as a CTC-4?

Just checked the SAMS at the ETF site. The RCA PN for the CTC-4 is 100409. The RCA PN for both CTC-5s is 102132.

I'm not at that point yet. I'm buzzing out the xfmr to see if it's even worth diving into the set...
