I couldn't say no, paid 20 bucks for this new in box 5" set. It visually looks like a lot of these little sets but its a bit bigger than most others.

I cant find my 3.5mm to RCA adapter, so I cant test out the crt right now, though the radio works well.

Maybe I'll mate it up to a Raspberry Pi, I'll figure out a use.

Years ago, they gave those away to try to sell you a timeshare.
A few people bit for it and were sorry later. Most of the people listened to the presentation, grabbed the set and ran! :D
Most didn't come with an AC adapter. There was an order form included to order one and the rechargeable battery. :thumbsdn:

That 3.5mm external antenna jack not a an AV Jack . You will want 3.5mm to F type adapter.

I have a "Curtis" branded version of this set. it has a 1/8" jack for the ext antenna and the composite video input (no audio). I also had an "Amtel" branded set like this one that I broke (necked the jug in) when I was a kid. I bought it at K-Mart in 1999 or so and it had proper A/V jacks.

The only 5" sets I keep are the color sets. It's amazing how well they work!

I made my own! Used A 3.5mm plug and a F female removed from something I scrapped. :scratch2:

This set is interesting because its UHF tuner goes all the way to channel 83. The UHF band (in the USA, at least) had been cut down to channel 69 years before this set's 2002 manufacture date.
