Recommendations for a reliable, affordable DTV converter box?

I have a few Blonder Tongue agile modulators that I'd like to hook into a series of DTV converter boxes to get some over the air channels in my house. Unfortunately, I'm having a hard time finding a coverter box that holds up in the long term. One of mine just died, and the other needs to be reset every few days, or the audio and video will get out of sync.

I'd like to find something that I can basically set on a channel, run through an RCA jack to the modulator, and leave alone. I don't need anything fancy, just basic functions, but I'd like to avoid replacing it every few years.

Any help is appreciated.

Walmart Ematic. Has the outputs you want plus HDMI...

I've had 7 Ematics running 24/7 for a long while, 2 years+, doing just what you are planning. No problems. They also have a setting so that 4:3 will actually fill the screen like it should. Doesn't work for all programming, but seems to for most. Now if I could just get late 40's tuners to cope with more signals. I get 52 channels off the air with the Ematics and a four bay bowtie UHF antenna, including 2 which are actually on VHF.

Gotcha. I'll put that down and try and pick up a few. Are those exclusive to Walmart, or can I find them elsewhere?
