Zenith Plastic. J615
I picked this up yesterday. A Zenith J615 table radio. Working perfectly. Great sound for its size, and picks up stations quite well.

AA6 type live chassis. Make sure the power light above the volume control works! A very nice radio. Phono jack in the rear?

Light works. Jack in the rear. I have found out that it is actually an R615.

When I see something in person, I use the dirtiness to my advantage. I make it sound like it will take a lot to make it look good and work properly. Non radio people fall for it every time. :) |

Thanks ! My handle is indeed like the upper example, but is black to match the cabinet color.

My handle is correct, but it is likely that someone removed the brass trim on my black 615 before I got it years ago. :tears:

My J615 - in white Attachment 198049 has the same handle as WiscoJim's. These DO sound great with good bass, especially considering the atypical speaker "grille"
