CRT Rebuilding at the 2017 Early Television Convention

Nick Williams will be at the museum on Saturday, April 29 through the convention the next weekend rebuilding tubes. All are welcome to join him.

I will be there a couple of days early. I will certainly enjoy this. Do you think it is time to to try a color tube yet?

If so I've got a pair of 21FBP22s and a maybe a leaky 21AXP22 that I'd consider offering up as guinea pigs.

I think that Nick plans to try a 21AXP22

Amazing progress on CRT Rebuilding!!

Although I have not been involved in the project, I have been reading the progress reports on the ETF's rebuilding efforts. WOW! Well done, everyone!

I really wanted to insert danging bananas here, but will not, out of respect. :thmbsp:

Can't believe I missed this thread.

Yes, I will have an AXP with me. Don't drag all your tubes to the museum just yet though, I'm going to cook another B&W tube first to brush up and make sure the machines are working correctly. If so I'll pull the trigger on my own guinea pig and see what happens.
