Good luck in restoring this TV. I had one, a trash find in my old neighborhood, back in the '70s-'80s, and liked the set a lot. Mine was missing the dipole antennas in the swiveling handle (I think they may have been broken off by the set's previous owner), but the TV itself worked great, using an external rabbit-ear antenna. Yours looks slightly different from mine as far as the front panel goes, but then again, yours may be slightly newer than the set I had. The volume/on-off knob on mine was solid metal, for one thing, and the channel selector knob on mine was missing when I found the set (I temporarily replaced it with a VHF channel knob from a Sharp 12" portable I once owned, replacing that some time later with a VHF channel selector knob from an old [1960s] RCA Victor portable. As much as I hated to do it, I had to get rid of that Philco Briefcase 19 some years later when I finally was able to get a new set.

I say I hated to get rid of that Philco portable because I eventually had it working quite well, but I eventually had reached a point where I had to start getting rid of old TVs and other junk when I moved from my former home (a 3-bedroom house with a basement in suburban Cleveland) to my current residence, a one-bedroom apartment some 30 miles from Cleveland.

Oh, well. I guess it was just as well I had to get rid of those TVs, especially by 2008 when all TV switched to ATSC digital. I had moved to my apartment by then (in late 1999), so didn't have room for any more old televisions (except a 19" Zenith color table model which I kept, and which still works last time I tried it). I've liked Zenith TVs, radios, and hi-fi gear for decades; this is why. My Zenith 19" color portable has given me absolutely no trouble whatsoever from the beginning, which is more than I can say for some other TVs I've had. I cannot use it any longer due to the changes in TV standards ten years ago, but I still like the set well enough (because it is a Zenith, of course) that I want to hold on to it as long as possible.
