1930 Sparton AM radio

This is from around 1930...I got it in a pawnshop in Alamogordo New Mexico a few weeks ago for $50. The only problems with it was that a resistor had broke loose on one end and somehow this was overloading the filter caps causing them to smoke. Installed new caps and fixed resistor. This set apparently had a relatively recent repair job on it. It is a TRF set and the volume control varies the gain of the RF amp tubes and not the audio directly. It uses some real antique tubes...has 2 directly heated triodes for output that still work great. The original 1930 power cord and plug was still working but I replaced it with a modern one for safety.
