You could try a VERY gentle cleaning with some Mother's Mag and Aluminum Polish, followed by a coat of clear spray lacquer to keep the panel from oxidizing again. It's worked for me with old gold tone face-plates before. |

From some digging it seems the same as or very similar to the Monarch SA-40 and probably a few others of that era. Would still like to find a schematic for it but with the recap it should work well for a while.
