It is an interesting turn of events....... I think part of it is the low car sales numbers.
While car sales are supposedly higher now, they are not where they once were. But
high dollar luxury car sales are doing well.... If you think about it, the Challenger is
quite a high tech, comfy car compared to what they were in the 70's, A engine with
wheels and steering.... The car has actually made a bit of a market shift over to
appeal to hot rodders who now have money and would normally be after a Lexus, or
something else high priced, but fast..... In '95 my brother bought a GT 5 speed, and
was easily beat by a G sedan from Infinity.... G-45 I think it was.... Challenger sales
numbers = Infinity G sedan numbers..... Same market....? Just a thought....
