From the pictures I've seen online and the tufts of original material escaping from the crack between the speaker board and the cabinet I think the original was white or almond-ish white with gold threads woven in. I've been told it is hard to touch these TVs for under 1k on eBay so I'm kinda surprised no one seems to be reproducing the fabric for these.

With the HV cage removed it is not too hard to get at... certainly easier than some of the parts on the mainboard that don't have chassis holes beneath them.

Yeah it's basically a wood cabinet debutante turned on its side with legs and a 21" CRT stuck on.... I don't think I'll find a 21" console with a smaller footprint... it's almost comical the girth of the CRT compared to the cabinet... it's like an alien or a little cat with a big head.
