Sounds right to me. RCA parts boil down to a 6 digit ## issued consecutively.
The 274 is the EIA code for RCA so RCA BUILT that part.
" Drawing" numbers are on big parts such as FBT's. Most end in -501
but I never figured out any pattern with them. We did have a paper cross
for drawing to 6 digit part ##
Other numbers were used like KRK for tuners, CTC color chassis, M for modules & other sub assys.
In the end the 6 digit ## is the start for finding parts.
