Anyone with money could buy anything, or at least rent it. But they were a coin operated amusement machine designed for public spaces. I think even rich people wouldn't want this in their home. With a limited nunber of selections it would quickly get boring. Have a look at the size and design of the machine.
In home entertainment would be more like a really good tv and stereo.
