Hello Robb.. I have two sets like this.. a 20 ' and a 32"..I can say that they work very fine and I love them. Both have a flat screen tube.. I have them since longtime and I no problems for now ..

EDIT : I now have since a year and a half, a '14 one . The TV is turned on daily at least 2 to 6 hours a day , it depends on my mood and no problems so far. On the other hand, this television was used for video games (by the first owner). Filled with luck, I found a complete circuit of the same model whose rest of the tv had been smashed on the sidewalk. Therefore, I took what was still good.
