I just measured the phosphored viewing area of my 15GP22 and it is approximately 11.1 x 8.2 inches, which is very similar to a 12 1/2" Admiral (10.75 x 8.5 inches) and a 12 1/2" RCA (11 x 8.5 inches) so I think that it is accurate to characterize the picture as similar to a 12-1/2 set.
The opening of the double d mask surrounding the 15GP22 is about 12.3 x 10.2 inches.
The glass front panel of the 15GP22 about 14.7 inches diameter and the largest diameter is 15.75 inches to the edge of the welded flange.
