All CRT TVs here - and all free! Two from freecycle (broken when we got 'em) and two are from Dad. Also have three tube sets - an Emerson B/W, a GE Portacolor, and a Zenith metal cabinet hybrid set - all working, but used only in winter to supplement the heat.
My brother recently replaced his 12 year old Sony with a cheapie LCD - damn CRT had the Sony "intermittent" cathode problem. Sony even published a service bulletin (attachment) for the problem - with NO
solution! Open set and whack the CRT? Nah gunna do it....
