I wish I knew that before I bought this soldering iron.
I almost picked up a spare on CL for free, but then decided on fixing this one instead.
I bought
one of those breakout connectors to make sure my pinout is correct and that the fault is in the connector (which doesn't seem to be the case, because continuity exists with red in the connector
).
From what I've seen, the monitor end is even worse.
