Well either way, even if my radio did travel out of state for a while it did end up coming back home which is still cool. my radio surprisingly enough didn't have any service shop tags on it anywhere on the chassis, which one might assume that either a) the radio was never serviced in its life until recently or b) the shop that the radio was serviced at during its life never put a sticker on the items that they serviced.
Which more than likely it was the latter because the radio shows signs of having old repair work done to it besides the recent restoration work done to the chassis where the old capacitors were replaced, like the power transformer for instance looks like a newer replacement (the screw holes from the orginal transformer didn't line up with the replacement transformer), and none of the original tubes are in the radio anymore, and also some of the mica capacitors look like replacements (there are some that are a different style than the others in the unit).
