I just noticed the part number for the tuner on the 'bay is a Zenith part number, 175-402, so it's not likely to be universal. Then again, RCA did make a KRK series tuner that could be fitted in about 30 different models, so Zenith may have done the same.

What's the tube complement in your GE tuner? I can dig through my 20 or 30 tube tuners and see what I have.
