That baby was a Spiegel mail order item and has that spring loaded on/off switch on that stainless steel and chrome front. I haven't seen one in 25 years.

It was quite a thrill to actually have that unit in my own hands when I lifted it off the Magnavox at the owners home. I may never own one but I can always remember the time I came so close to true quality......
