If you are serious into collecting antique radios, you might consider buying one of those low power AM transmitters. That way, you can broadcast what YOU want to hear and not what THEY would like you to hear. I'm probably going to do this soon because I'm tired of all my radios becoming shelf queens. The only time I turn them on is to make sure they still work and to scan the AM dial at night. I'll bet it was fun back in the '50's, '60's and '70's to actually be able to scan the AM dial at night and hear one music station after another.
