I like having a standard. My Chevy half-ton has a 5-spd... and I doubt I would have gotten it had it been an automatic. In this case, the automatic will get a little better mileage on the highway, and on those hot Texas summer days, I can have the air-conditioning on and cooling before I get to the car!
