Bought a pair of shoes at the thrift store, the left was marked $6 & the right was marked $8. I thought the clerk would go ahead & give them to me for $6 but he split the difference & charged me $7. That's okay, I would have paid $9!

I once found a CTC-11 at an indoor flea market over 2 hours from home but the vendor was away for the weekend. I drove all the way back the next Saturday. I heard $15 & he didn't fuss about it when he helped me load it; as we drove away my girlfriend at the time told me she was pretty sure he'd said $50. Part of me has always felt a little guilty about that.

Panasonic stuff from that era has a neat design with lots of thought put into it. This reminds me of a couple of their auto-tune transistor radios that I've owned; one had a key-wround motor. Really, who else would do that?
